Menganti Beach

Menganti Beach is located in Karangduwur Village, Kecamatan Ayah, Kebumen District, Central Java. This beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Central Java. This beach has white sand and there is a panoramic view of the hills as well as beautiful karst cliffs. The landscape of the hills is a bit difficult to access this beach. Before reaching the shore through a twisted road, yet the scenery remains amazing. Menganti Beach has its own distinctive coconut tree. Menganti Beach also has a huge and huge giant coastal cliff in the western part known as Bidadari Cliff. The typical atmosphere is the fishing boats lining the beach, with white sand with many large rocks that can be used to sit while releasing a view toward the ocean is a satisfaction for visitors. One object to visit when you arrive at Menganti beach is the lighthouse tower and Tanjung Karangbata. It is located in east - southeast of Menganti beach.

If the rainy season arrives, the cliffs west of Menganti Beach is decorated with four waterfalls that pour from a height of more than 30 meters. The hills will verily add to this beautiful beach. Menganti Beach is the only white sand beach in Central Java. Menganti beach can be used for surfing.

Mount Sindara, commonly called Sindoro, or also Sundoro (altitudo 3,150 meters above sea level) is an active volcano volcano located in Central Java, Indonesia, with Temanggung as the nearest town. Van Der Wijk Fortress was built around the 19th century.
